I see people bleating on about this but I just don't understand it. DX7's envelopes are not ADSRs - they are more flexible and interesting. Maybe you should learn how to use the DX7 envelopes instead of Dexed's developer wasting time simplifying them for you and in the process making Dexed more limited and not compatible with a DX7. Or maybe use one of the myriad other synths that do DX-style FM and also have ADSR envelopes? Why must Dexed be bastardized just for people who are annoyed with the DX7 level/rate envs?

edit - I realise I made an assumption that you wanted ADSRs. Maybe you just want to invert the rate controls, I guess this wouldn't be catastrophic for compatibility etc, but I don't know, is it that hard to simply adjust to this methodology? I think about them like the LFO paradigm, i.e. Rate = slow at the low end of the knob/fader, fast at the high end of the knob/fader.

Yeah those GUIs are definitely not at ENV1's level of work he did for PG8X and PPG V2.3, sorry. Fonts all look horrible and there are other issues as well...

Sorry but your skins look outdated like something that should be run on Windows 98. As mentioned earlier definitely not in the same league as ENV1. Your Cobalt skin simply reinforces my point. Sorry just my opinion.

Jellinghaus DX-Programmer, 25 pieces that were made supposedly. From what i read it's not very usable, but the look is gorgeous indeed.

Ah thanks for the intro. That blue color is gorgeous. Would love to see that one on one of my favorite synths.
