I heard that Avicii uses Nakamichi.

Bring on the Nakamichi !! :hyper:

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Would love a Fostex X-15. I made some good music on one of those. :)
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

You obviously haven't driven the input gain, did you?

Definite +1 for the Fostex X-15!

Vortifex wrote:Oh yeah, when I start tweaking of course I can hear the changes. Very nice indeed! I meant that when everything is at default and only the Tape module is activated. Is there not supposed to be any effect in that situation? If not then disregard my previous comment.
The default is set to -24 dB, you should be able to hear a difference at 0.

You mean you disagree with the guy who calls Bootsie's plugins snake-oil? How shocking! What comes next? Not all compressors sound the same?

Great plug.
I mentioned it on GS, love it on drums, here is how it can treat the snare for example.

I don't care how much the original hardware is respected or not, I never tried it, but I love what I hear in the plugin.
If someone emulate cheap cassete recorder witth cheap old microphone, I'd go for it as well, could be a nice sound design tool.
Well done Fuse Audio Labs

Can you install TCS-68 Cassette Tape Channel Plugin on two computers (DAW and laptop?). Or is there a limitation for activations?

Hi midi_transmission,

Installing and activating it on multiple machines is perfectly possible.

Hope this helps!

Best,

this one IS a goodie! ...although there are several ways to add it from outside, the addition of wow/flutter controls would be very welcome and perhaps convince anyone who may be on the fence ;]

What do you mean?? Clearly ALL compressors sound exactly the same. I should know as I have them all. :P

Yes, that would be nice. Maybe in an "advanced" panel.
A well-behaved signature.

Pristine, high fidelity mixes/tracks aren't always wanted/needed. That's why a plugin like this is warranted.
