does anyone have Kontakt crashes in Studio One?

I've been having Kontakt crash problems this year in S1.

Typically Kontakt freezes while working. S1 soon follows.

I'm using off the shelf sample sets, and only tweaking the GUI provided.

No loading issues. No cpu issues.

Don't know if it's Kontakt's fault, my fault, or S1's fault.

I'm on Win 10 on a reasonably good machine.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

I don't know if that's helpful, but I've been using Kontakt with Studio One quite lot lately and never had any problems. If you're able to crash the standalone Kontakt, that would rule out a S1 issue.

No Kontakt crashing issues with Studio One Pro 3.5.5. here. (Windows 8 Pro).

Same here. Use Kontakt quite a bit (though nothing particularly complex) and never had any crashes. Also on Windows 10.

I've had Kontakt crashes in S1, but none that I can recall recently.

But then I use a lot of third party Kontakt instruments as well. Can't really remember the specifics of the various crashes, but I do recall getting error messages. Sometimes I have unloaded a Kontakt instrument and S1 freezes.

Don't know if that helps. The issues with Kontakt and S1 aren't deal-breakers. I don't think Kontakt has caused S1 to completely crash, at least, not for a long while.

Edit - Am on Win 10 as well, with a decent machine.

Looked at it further:

I need to purge Kontakt more often, save memory.

I'm sure this will help.
