Hello everybody,

After updating to Cub 9.5.2 I noticed a few minor but annoying probs, not sure if it is Cubase related, familiar to anyone?

* closing projects takes much more time, up to more than minute depending the size of the project. I work on a Mac i7, SSD, 32 Gb RAM, can't be caused by that
* copy and paste an event ('cmd+d' or 'cmd+c / v' or other copy techniques) doesn't happen, only automation copies, event not, restarting Cubase helps
* after a few hours working it happens that the volume faders of channels got somehow 'linked' to the master volume fader. It is visible too in the mixer, both gets highlighted. Looks like Q-link, but that was not activated. When I push up the fader of, for example, a bass channel, the mastervolume increases too. Weird. Have to restart Cubase again to eliminate it

Nope. I'm working with much less. Not really huge projects here but some are really not small.

Everything copy/pastes or dupes normally here.

This is bizarre. Trash your preferences.

Something is just corrupted, delete preferences as a start.

The installer would not run (crashed repeatedly) on one of my machines which had no problem with previous installers.

Do you mean the setup file or the application itself?

In any case, did you try downloading it again? I used to have all kinds of problems with corrupted downloads before I started using a download manager.

None of these bugs you mentioned happen here. Running it on win10 though. I'd trash cubase preferences but before that, to make sure that it really is preferences, you could run cubase in safe mode with disabled preferences.

Also, as this is a 9.5.20 thread, I hope I'm not hijacking it but the since this update, there is a visual bug when you enable computer keyboard (alt+k). The notes don't light up and sometimes look glitched. Anyone else?

Installer file I downloaded works on some machines but not my main workstation - possibly it depends on some latest version of some library which is doesn't update during the install process. I tried moving in via network and direct transfer with a thumb drive - same error every time. It is not at all obvious from the Steinberg site how to get this error to the notice of support.

I managed to sort my issues with the 9.5.20 and .21 updates. I have my workstation offline but I used Win Update to update to the latest .net (4.71). That sorted my Kernelbase.dll error.

If the installers have these sorts of dependencies - perhaps they should include that info in the update.
