Doesn´t sound classical to me, maybe it´s just a jingle composed for this advertisement?

Yeah, sounds like generic stock library music.

Upload it to Soundcloud or Youtube, the inevitable copyright claim will soon identify it for you.

Thats a smart move!

In fact, it is really strange why they would NOT use classical music when advertising for a classical music concert. A bit like using goa techno in an ad for a new age concert.

As its an advert then the chances of them using anything but some generic library midi music is about as likely as bumping into a vegitarian lion..

:) It´s an advert, but from what I understand it´s an event arranged by the radio station. At least before, radio stations would make their own jingle music but maybe that´s different nowadays.. Perhaps contacting the station and asking them is the best option.

I'd imagine it's much cheaper (as in, at least an order of magnitude cheaper) to pop onto AudioJungle and get a generic 30 second track than it is to license some large budget recording of a big-name symphony. And besides, the fact that it has strings in it fooled at least one person into thinking it was "classic."

Thanks for all pointers. Sounded to nice to me for being library music, but anyway...
