Rev 3898, modwheel to maximum value of 127 will change pitch up. If modwheel is assigned negative to an oscillator pitch to cancel the pitch up, the pitch becomes unpredictable, and ZebraHZ becomes unstable, possibly crashing.
Does not happen in VST 2 version.
ZebraHZ VST3 Modwheel permanently bound to global pitch

Sounds like one of the many quirks of our old VST3 implementation.yellowmix wrote:Rev 3898, modwheel to maximum value of 127 will change pitch up. There is a note in the installer package about that VST3 implementation, which advises to not use VST3, because it's not as stable as we liked.
We since rewrote the VST3 implementation completely, and are subsequently updating all plugins to use this much improved version.
Currently can't say when this ZebraHZ update will be released, since the Zebra2.8 update needs to be finished first.
Until then, please use VST2 instead of VST3.
