Hi,

I just posted this song in the cafe, but as its all ST2 except the acoustic guitar and voice I thought I'd mention it here too :)

Falling Forward

(12 instances of ST2, each 'frozen' in logic before I can do another, as I can only get 1 at a time on my slow old computer! And as I said in the other thread regarding my limited voice, I'd appreciate any feedback about whether you think I should carry on or give up and stop embarassing myself.)

Zoing/Simon/Dairy Giant,

I hope you didn't write the above comment very seriously. You certainly have musical talent. I enjoy it and so does my --- announcement -- wife. When I was on the plane back to the US from NZ, I listened to the "Lost in Space" song several times. The "Coffee and Chocolate Milk" song was touching and has had even more special meaning to me since I learned...okay, here it is...big news for eDrummist released on KVR...Nancy and I are expecting a baby eDrummist in February. (My goal is to raise children with musical and vocal ability who will allow me to start a family band with me on the drums).

Music is a great gift, it shouldn't be relegated only to commercial ventures and popularity contests, it is art and personal therapy. Even if you were to play and write only for your own personal enjoyment, it would still be worthwhile. However, I know that your family and my family appreciate your talent and gift of music; I am also certain that there are others who also are appreciative.

Email me.

thanks e!

Congratulations to you and Nancy on your great news! I'm sure you will all be very happy. I've been meaning to email you for a while, so I will soon. Thanks for your kind comments, though my question was serouis, sometimes its hard to listen to yourself objectively. Or at all...

Zoing,

Nicely done! By all means "carry On." Just realize that carrying on sometimes involves embarassing yourself (at least in my case it does) They are not mutually exclusive. It's how we push that envelope a little further :)

Nicely put!

thank you Dan

When I grew up, I never sang (solo at least), it always seemed so embarrasing. I encourage my kids to sing, dance and express themselves as much as possible (well, within reason!). It is a great advantage I think!
