Is there a demo for this?

Also, I can't find a comparison chart on the Propellerhead site. Does it have Bounce in Place?

Is there a limit on the amount of inserted/loaded instruments ?

Demo for intro version? Is there such a thing for any other DAW? :D

Regarding Bounce In Place that's a good question, but description here doesn't differ from full version, so I'd say it's there.

Considering how Reason works, that would be difficult.

But as said in the description, Intro is limited to 16 tracks.

I have no idea if they do. Apparently you do.

Curious as to the right click menu options for starters. How do they differ from full Reason. eg Bounce in Place.

Bounce In Place that's a good question,
Maybe a Reason to have a demo?

Or a proper comparison chart...

No, they don't. Demo is always for full version, so that you could feel the pain buying anything less :)

It's not explicitly listed in any version, so I'd think it is included. Even if it wasn't you can still render mixer channels and have the resulting sample inserted as a new track in your project, which would be a more elaborate way to bounce in place.

And please don't behave like I should give you all the answers. I'm just a guy who stumbled upon this info on FB and posted here and I need to do my own research, reading and deduce this from limited information. You can too.

A lot more attractive than Reason Essentials, which only had Subractor as a synth device. Can't help myself, they seem to be pretty eager to get new customers.

I see. Well, I would hate to spend 100 US Dollars only to find out that certain functions are not available. But I think I'll wait for Anasou to show up or get more info from Prop site rather than make deductions based on limited information.
But thanks for starting the thread - I am somewhat interested in this Intro. :)

Thanks for posting that to the thread. :) I always run around in circles on the Propellerhead site

I'm sure they'll offer a trial for Reason Intro at some point. I think there was one for Reason Essential, so...

I can't help feel that the timing of this is uncanny with recent leaking events :D. The pricing is right around where Studio One 3 Artist is, but includes VST support as standard. Things are going to be getting interesting.

I was smiling happy lovely face up until I see 16 track limited. I can't even use it for free let alone shelling out 100 bucks. My drum is 16 track minimum.
I wonder who is going to buy this?

Post

16 track probably doesn't mean 16 "lanes", e.g. 1 track with 16 lanes for 1 Kong (a blind guess, could be wrong)
