I meant a classic stand-alone synth with keyboard and everythingUrs wrote:One part is only available from Taiwan, and Chinese PCBs are considered not onyl cheaper but also superior to German ones. But other than that, afaik all parts, processors, printing and assembly are done in Germany.fluffy_little_something wrote:Made in Germany or China?
Why, it is. Try building a Eurorack synth for less than 3kI would have expected a fully-fledged $3000 synth![]()

Yeah, probably. And maybe one day we will do this, too, once we have enough experience in the hardware route.fluffy_little_something wrote:I meant a classic stand-alone synth with keyboard and everythingI assume it would sell better than a Eurorack module.
Hehehe, yes, our module is supposed to be very cool for entry level racks and beginners. Like I said elsewhere, I prefer racks of 15-25 modules. This module might add a lot of musical value to such a setup.vurt wrote:looks like i picked the right time to get in to eurocrack
well make sure theres one for me, or as the kids say "take my money now!!!"Urs wrote:Hehehe, yes, our module is supposed to be very cool for entry level racks and beginners. Maybe wait until we reveal what it is. I think atm we're not 100% sure what exactly it does.vurt wrote:well make sure theres one for me, or as the kids say "take my money now!!!"![]()
the not knowing makes it more exciting!Urs wrote:Maybe wait until we reveal what it is. I think atm we're not 100% sure what exactly it does.vurt wrote:well make sure theres one for me, or as the kids say "take my money now!!!"![]()
Precisely. I'm not 100% sure of 'exactly' what at least a third of my modules do. But there-they-are, beckoning to me, to embrace my ignorance, and the joy of discovering unforeseen wonders.vurt wrote:the not knowing makes it more exciting!Urs wrote:Maybe wait until we reveal what it is. But seriously - how do you find time to do all these things? Either you must be the best person in the world with time management - or you simply do not sleep.
