She keeps track of everything, knows not only how many there are but also where they are. I can design anything on Modulargrid and she'll put it together aka "no screwin' around for me".

This is just an excuse for Urs to play his eurorack at Superbooth!Urs wrote:We have no illusion that the Eurorack market is much more limited than software, in terms of numbers and profits. It's a labour of love. Something I needed us to do.zvenx wrote:that market

Funnily, the one depicted is the first prototype which has a bit of a heat problem. It might melt. The hardware guys are currently connecting the CPU to +5V which should reduce power consumption (equals heat dissipation) dramatically.Chapelle wrote:If I steal one of these, will it start melting after some time of use?

Hehehe, you got me. We have a demo in the auditorium scheduled, indeed!spunkmuffin wrote:This is just an excuse for Urs to play his eurorack at Superbooth!Urs wrote:We have no illusion that the Eurorack market is much more limited than software, in terms of numbers and profits. This got me to look at Tubbutec whom I had never heard of. That µTune module is very cool. You certainly got the right guy to build your modular stuff. I am sorely tempted to put my toe into the modular ocean but I know there be dragons (underwater dragons).Urs wrote:The hardware PCB design, part search and deployment is done by our friends over at Tubbutec.

Nope. We have a hired a completely new team for the hardware (guys form Tubbutec), and Linux development is still outsourced to Abique (who is catching up with developments).Arnd wrote:I hope that development of this Eurorack module is not the reason for the lack of Linux fixes for Repro-5 (et.al.) after having implemented the new preset browser...

Yes, looks like our Repro-Lyrebird-As-A-Plug-In is pretty much ready, while the spring reverb is still a bit in limbo (might not have NKS seal of approval for Superbooth).Chapelle wrote:Will you also announce new software at Superbooth (like that spring reverb based on the one from Bazille, or other plugins based on effects in your instruments)?
We don't have final names for either, there's a trademark issue with "Lyrebird", so we need to call it something else.
