I remember a while back, in one of those threads, someone posted an utterly bizarre YouTube video. If my memory serves me correctly, it features some (probably bearded) messianic looking guy in robes. I'm pretty sure the background was something like outer space or something else equally wacky. The whole thing had a strange sect-like vibe. I'm pretty sure that the creator had multiple other videos along the same lines.

I know that's vague, but it was also such a weirdly kooky video that I'm sure someone must remember what it was. My memory is somewhat hazy, so I'm not exactly certain what was going on. But weird space alien cult leader is my immediate association with it. And I do think there was music to the whole thing, probably electro-tarnce-hooey-new-age something-or-other. I also *think* he looked a bit reminiscent of Lord British from the Ultima games.

I guess this is probably inviting all sorts of random YouTube weirdness to be posted, but if you know what I'm talking about, or even remember more details about the video, I'd be grateful. It's bugging me and Google is not being a big help (and my search terms are vague enough as it is).

No takers? Someone here posted this video, I'm sure of it. And even if you don't know what video I mean, how come no one has posted anything even remotely wacky and along the same lines? I miss the old KVR.

Also, given that this was posted a while back, my memory is possibly fuzzy, so anything in the rough ballpark would be welcome. Don't let my very vague description deter you. Despite googling, I'm still drawing blanks.

Was it something from Heaven's gate maybe?
Haven't seen any from them with music, though. UFO cult.

that's the route i ended up taking, through all the recommended videos from there, im now the leader of a cult
