Well I've loved Thin Lizzy for most of my life and saw them live three or four times but AC/DC live were amazing.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, In Step Tour, 1989-
Stray Cats were supposed to open, but something happened, Johnny Copeland ended up filling in for them at the last minute.
It actually started to rain when Stevie began "The Sky Is Crying"!

Music can no longer soothe the worried thoughts of monarchs; it can only tell you when it's time to buy margarine or copulate. -xoxos

I saw Carlos Santana stop the rain back at an outdoor show in the '80s. Steel Pulse was opening, it poured throughout their set, roadies put tarps over the speakers and the promoter said the show would be canceled if the rain continued.ccDuckett wrote:Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, In Step Tour, 1989-

Carlos plugged his guitar in and hit a long, beautifully sustaining note...the rain stopped immediately, a wind blew away the clouds, birds came out to sing and the rest of the day (and concert) were gorgeous. For real! Music = magic.

Jethro Tull just after their 'Thick as a Brick' release.
I was just a teen but very impressed, so I learned to play most of it.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
