Hey,
Sorry to pop up again here, i wasn't sure you were too pleased about my last coments, but i'm afriad they are pretty much still the same.
its all a bit vague and, bluntly, sounds like its written by an amateur. I'm an amateur and thare's nothing wrong with being an amateur, but perhaps not the best person to try to teach others.
For example:
"a, d, r, etc - this will shape your synth. A represents Attack or how fas the sound starts and r represents release or how long it takes for the sound to stop. Play around with these to shape your synth perfectly."
This doesn't really mean anything, and for example if you are talking about the filter ADSR then it will have no impact on how fast the sound starts at all. You also seemed to have forgot to mention about decay and sustain.
"dly, delay - This will add an echo to your sound so it playes two or more times within the beat."
This just plainly doesn't make sense. Plays 2 or more times within the beat? Within what beat? This kind of language doesn't make anything clear at all. You need to have more material covering each area.
I'm really sorry to say it mate bit if i was a newbie i think some of this stuff would just confuse me.
you say things like:
"Though keep in mind that the more you pay the better the program you will be getting (usually). If you are just starting out (as you probably are) I would suggest you get fruityloops or Reason. These programs offer simple to use layouts and powerfull advanced options."
This is a very subjective thing. In my opinion Reason would be the absolute last program i would suggest for a beginner. Its got a complex hardware-alike interface(great if you know about hardware, tricky if you don't) and offers very little in the way of simplicity to the absolute beginner.
But then this is only my opinion. And as for "the more you pay the better you get", well thats stretching the truth a fair bit. Its really not true in the case of music software.
All in all you might have the start of something here, but it covers a lot of ground very quickly, and not necessarily very accurately.
Sorry for being blunt, but i thought you'd appreciate the honesty rather than have me lie to you.

I commented on the delay bit. Delay makes a lot more effects than just 'to the beat'. Flanger, chorus, and reverb are ALL delay effects as well. The delay doens't have to be 'to the beat' either, it can be a fixed interval that's NOT to the timing of the piece.
