One from the late 80s that comes to mind:

That was a short lived project and I don't think every showed up around here.

And sadly there's not that many great alto sax, trombone and guitar trios around... :hihi:

^ I like it. :)
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

...and then there weren't mythical ones - the U.S. tour I wish I'd seen. Too, I wish I'd gone to Indianapolis to see The Ramones in 1978...damn it to hell! It would have taken a fake I.D., though...

Wonderful performance, starts at 1.02:

Listen out at 2.47 for the curious percussion sound!

Literally? I remember being on a hip hop festival in 2012 and I was so stoked for Nas with a live band (was a big fan of Nas back then and a live band playing the instrumentals seemed like a revelation back then to me) but I kind of got the schedule wrong and was waiting on the tent place for the concert to begin while sitting in a camping chair and drinking beer when a friend came and said "ey yo Nas with that live band was so cool why weren't you there?" and I was kind of like "huh, what?" and was really mad because of it because it was one of the main reasons why I actually went there, lol. I was that kind of an old school hip hop head who walked past wiz khalifa performing (that was on the peak of his career I guess) just to see some underground stuff, Mf Doom was also there and he behave like an idiot because the people didn't know his lyrics
Glorious times.

In the summer of '76, I was holding a pair of tickets to see Led Zepplin in Los Angeles. A few weeks before the concert, Robert Plant had a car accident in Greece and broke his foot, and they postponed the concert. Before it could be rescheduled, John Bonham died of alcohol poisoning.

Bonham died 4 years later?
