Hi,
After Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 my daughter can no longer use Cubase 8 ai (received after buying Ur22mk2 hardware). I try to reactivate it in Mysteinberg account, but it seems that the license was not registred in mysteinberg (The Ur22mk2 hardware is registred) , and I don't have the printed DOWNLOAD INFORMATION DOCUMENT any more
Is there a way to reactivate the software?
I tried to contact the support since few days now, but I received no reaction from them..
Thank you for your help.

If it's already been activated, you'll probably have to contact Steinberg to get a new activation number.
I've had a quicker response by calling or having an online chat with them.
Check the elicenser if you haven't already.

I had an activation stolen (stolen computer with an auto login to My Steinberg for the asking), which updated Cubase 5 to Cubase Pro 9. Steinberg doesn't give a flying f**k that I can prove I bought the upgrade so the thief gets to keep it I suppose. This is a bad situation, be glad she got it for free in a box of hardware.
I mean the activation code is IT. Do the online chat or phone call rather than technical support, though.

No idea what this has to do with this thread.jancivil wrote:I had an activation stolen (stolen computer with an auto login to My Steinberg for the asking), which updated Cubase 5 to Cubase Pro 9. By the way Steinberg Support gave him a new activation hours after he posted here (he also posted on the Steinberg forums).
