Stepping though some patches from the upcoming subscription set no. 28 - the involved tuning file was extracted from a recording of a crystal bowl ensemble, input sources are a woodblock/deep tom sequence and stereo-phased ocean waves.

Here come the release notes for set 28:

Set 28 covers wide range of sounds from tonality to dissonance, melodic sequences meet otherworldly textures, beautiful animated pads and tinkling chimes clash with glassy microtonal tones. Some presets make use of an image of two of my nephews playing on a tree, one of the tuning files was extracted from a recording of a crystal bowl ensemble. The included input sample was made by processing recordings of shouting, clapping and singing soccer fans I made some years ago in a football stadium in Germany.

Kaleidoscope subscription set no. 28 - uploaded on April 30th - 2018 containing:

88 Presets
25 images
7 tuning files
2 waveforms
1 input sample

The subscription library currently contains: 1944 presets - 970 images - 150 tuning files - 170 waveforms - 28 input samples.
Library size: 4.87 GB uncompressed, 2+ GB download.

Video demo for a dual engine preset from the upcoming subscription set no. 29 - changing root notes on the fly. Input sources are stereo-phased ocean waves, filter-sweeped pink noise and a field recording of soccer crowds processed with Sound Particles. The Kaleidoscope signal was processed with Breeze 2 reverb and some phasing/filtering provided by one of my MXXX patches.

Ambient texture produces with a single Kaleidoscope preset from the upcoming subscription set no. 29. Various noise sources provide the audio input, external reverb and some parallel multi-band filtering applied.

Kaleidoscope subscription set 29 uploaded on June 10th - 2018 containing:

*84 Presets
*28 images
*7 tuning files
*6 waveforms

Set 29 draws a bow from microtonal experiments to various rhythmical sequences and loops to ethereal textures, cinematic soudnscapes and ominous atmospheres. The included waveforms were created with Metasynth, quite a few images were hand-drawn using tables with various grids, abstract images were made with ArtMatic 7, Fractal Designer and Photoshop.

Please note: there is a re-occurring bug when you switch from a preset which uses string modeling and filtering with high resonance setting to a preset which uses sines, then the root note of the sine patch can be off by a semitone or more. If this happens, just select the next patch in the list and then flip back to the preset which you wanted to select, then the correct root note will be set.

The subscription library currently contains: 2028 presets - 998 images - 157 tuning files - 176 waveforms - 28 input samples.
Library size: 4.94 GB uncompressed, 2.4 GB download (RAR-archive in 4 parts).
Subscription price has been upped to € 75 EUR.

Ambient groove demo track using a Kaleidoscope preset from the upcoming subscription set no. 30 which processes all involved audio inputs (simple drum beat, white noise with filter/amplitude modulation, guitar feedbacks), in the middle part there is some send automation to a second instance of Kaleidoscope with a different root note and then back to the first instance. Kaleidoscope is processed by MTurboReverb which has some side-chained ducking going on (via the hihat sound in the drum groove).
