Anyone got it? Does it works well? Did you had any problems with it? I recently bought the Multi-X version of it and it didn't work well. I wonder if I'm alone in this situation or not.

Nobody?

SampleRobot got an excellent review in the Dutch "Interface" magazine: "The automated functions work almost perfectly, especially when you experiment and adjust settings yourself".

A member of the Dutch synthforum posted that it almost works perfectly, but sometimes it fails determining the start/end points.

Good to know! I couldn't get the loop points to work at all, even though I put it on in the Wizard. I just got no loop points in the wav files. Weird! :?

It sounds cool. I'm kind of waiting for it to go on sale. I looked back in a Google search, and they seem to have one once a year. I can wait.

I just wanted to give you a short word from me regarding SampleRobot. I'm on a Mac and have been using Redmaticas stuff for ages - I've been very hesitant to change platform because I didn't feel SampleRobot was good enough for my needs.

A couple of months ago I took the chance and bought myself a license of SampleRobot 5. Although it runs on Wine and the UI is looking far from attractive - I must say I am deeply impressed. It's really a very well-thought out program - and the UI looks messier than it actually is. It's quite easy to operate. But most importantly - it just works.

I also tried the Sample It app some time ago - and it crashed every now and then - and gave me weird transients - so I gave that up.

With the upcoming v6 we will have a better UI and native Mac apps. Apart from that - there is actually not much I'm missing from the old Redmatica Keymap. Maybe the DSP based loopers - but for regular sampling of hardware and software - SampleRobot is incredibly useful. Probably the best app for sampling hardware at the moment.

For me Samplit is working perfectly. No issues at all, which was not the case with SampleRobot. I guess it depends on your system and the sound card you use...

That's bloody weird. But as you say - probably depends on your system.
