Hello
I have a new Ipad with the lastest version of the IOS (11.3?), I also have a fresh install of rtpMIDI on my windows 10 machine.
I have downloaded wotja free for the Ipad and have made sure core midi is ticked and virtual midi is ticked under the Midi Out settings.
I fire up rtpMIDI and the session is enabled, but my Ipad does not show up in the Directory/Peer section, I create a simple 1 album track song in wotja and click on play and still my Ipad does not show up in rtpMIDI.
I can browse and get email fine on my Ipad, my pc can see the Ipad via the home network map on my router.
I am running out of ideas on what to do now.
Does rtpMIDI work with IOS 11?
Is there anything I need to do on my Ipad to get rtpMIDI to see it?
Same question about my windows machine and also my router?, any extra steps I need to do to get it to work?
Are there alternative wireless midi programs for Ipads that defo work with IOS 11?
Any ideas and help much appreciated.
Thanks

Try this
Download midimittr app free from AppStore and run it
Set wotja as the midi source
Set Network session 1 as the output

Thanks for getting back to me, seems it only uses bluetooth or usb cable and does not have a wireless option.BiancaNeve wrote:Try this

Will test out the usb cable option.
If you know of any other wireless options and not bluetooth options then please get in touch again.
Thanks

Well not sure what happened but my ipad suddenly showed up in rtpMIDI, I had not changed anything on my Ipad or Windows machine.
Some gremlins abound.
Will leave this post open for a little while in case I need any further help.
