There are many options for how to use them together; both Rewire and Reaper's ReaRoute ASIO feature works great, as well as using Live's ability to render all individual tracks, which can then be opened in Reaper for mixing or extensive audio recording.
There is also the karmic cool zen balance of using "Live" and "Reaper"...it's like they were meant to be together!
I just very recently started doing this -as of yesterday... I've had Reaper for years but haven't utilized it enough... the Take/Item FX opens up a whole new world
