Were you really?! You must be such a delicate, sensitive person ;) :D
We all are delicates to be honest and sweet, lovely and pure if we are talking about consciousness. And watching or hearing biased perceptions " vibration" such has been mentioned earlier passed on advertising motive sends a negative vibration through his words for people who are aware of what REAPER is capable of. Cause of that, it affects our brain and polluted with his ideas. I haven't expected to see that. I question if he really is REAPER user deep inside if he is not advertising. No one in this universe is not going to compare it that way knowing REAPER packed with tools you can dream off. Lets not go to about VSTi waves selling them 29 other selling them for cheap and anybody can be up and running with no time with highly CPU optimised rock solid REAPER. to the Devine. don't pick a single word don't pick a single word.

Yup, and still no automatically returning playing cursor, yippii.. Sometimes I wonder do the developers use their program at all. FL Studio got instant boost on added FR when Gol left. Wake up, Anosou!

Not that i'd disagree with you that it's a useful feature, but... i wonder how many Reason users actually want it. You know, sometimes it's also about things you got used to, in the process of learning and working with a sequencer. Also, just because a handful of users here hold their hand up, and say "Yes, we want it!", doesn't mean there's a vast amount of the userbase which really want it. I don't know if Propellerhead has something like uservoice, or something, where users can vote for their favorite features. Frankly, i think that is actually a great thing, which every company should have. Alongside user metrics, but, real musicians seem to be turned off by that, cuz NSA and stuff.

Free (for R10 peeps) until the end of May - 10.1 users should grab this ASAP:

Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 13 | i7 3770 @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro| Akai MPC Live 3 & Akai Force | Roland System 8 | Roland TB-3 | Roland MX-1 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD

The players SDK is most definitely the right approach from Propellerhead - both by making their device and having it in the shop (for free for a month is great too), and improving upon the SDK.

My free R10 lite gets to see the new stuff while my R3-R9 paid license stays at 9.5. I need nothing in 10.1, however this update focus on SDK is encouraging.
Have you tried Vital?

hmm-
so can we get MIDI out of a VST now?
I wonder what I want in here

Can't you do that on Redrum already? Never mind it is more than that.

From their blog:

"“So, what about performance?” I hear you ask. We are aware of some performance issues with VSTs, and trust me, we’re working hard to adress them. Good news is it’s going really well! But it’s a complex project that requires lots of time for testing. I can’t give you a date at the moment, but this performance optimization will be available as a free update for all Reason 10 owners later this year. Meanwhile, I hope you’ll enjoy everything that Reason 10.1 has to offer"

Nice! ;)

And just as important:
I would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that based on your feedback, we have decided there will not be any paid upgrades to Reason this year. So there’s absolutely no need to worry about missing out on new features later this year if you’re thinking about upgrading to Reason 10 now.

I was thinking this too, hopefully this update is one step towards that end.

And heya Enoch! Glad to see a RT friend here -- you were always one of my favorite to chat with despite our typical disagreements.

Greetings! Yeah, I lurk here pretty often - I just rarely chime in. Mostly in the Reason stuff, but also over at the Studio One threads (still my secondary DAW, though I rarely use it these days) and various plugins.
