So looks like I'm first. Here is my entry.

Envelope and especially attack in Crust is weird. Also I didn't find way to send noise through the filter but it is still alpha version of synth so I'm sure this will be changed. As I said before I like formant filter

. Mix is harsh but I don't have more time to work on this. I have tried to make Fujara but I failed. I also tried to make cymbalo but in the end it sound like hybrid koto-cymbalo or something like that

.

But it was fun.

I'm always "woried" about how non edm track will be "accepted" here. At first I have started atonal and amient track but then I have discarded it and use few preset from it (formant stuff) for this one.

Nothing fancy here and the name is misleading here. It's just compresor/limiter with 4 build in presets and one big mix knob. I use it on perc/drums stuff where I know it will be enough - instead of use Maximus (or any other comressor/limiter) for manual control. After goodizer (It doesn't make instrument sound good) on sent I use EQ and then reverb to make it sound better.

I wish Fathom have formant filter like this.

Trojak's track is very nice

I actually haven't thought of this type of formant filter use. I thought it'd be nice for bass.
This is not for the challenge, but I too played a bit with the filter this way. However I used only the tune knob for the lead's pitch changes:

Man, I hope that ban's just a misunderstanding - and that it has no bearing on the Crust or the challenge! 1eqinfinity seems like a perfectly nice bloke to me, buy hey, I don't know anything.

Here's my entry this month. I hope you'll stick with it till the end even if it's on the long side. Minor mixing adjustments may occur. As I promised, it's the 7'' edit of my Crust adventures. (more like a 12'' version, come to think of it - but I avoided the 10-minute mark

I guess my enthusiasm has been obvious from the start - this is honestly my new favourite synth. It did everything I asked for and then some - once 1eqinfinity sorts out those attack envelopes I've got almost everything I need and want in a synth. And that fab, warm, full sound!

Really well laid track, Schiing. Not long enough imo

Crust is amazingly versatile despite it's simplicity. I know I'll be using it from here on out, especially if some of the features get ironed out. I hope our identities haven't been compromised though! lol
