i enjoyed listening to all of your beautiful works of art and as usual am really inspired to go make some more noise. so many great melodies and atmospheres this time around. i don't know how some of you all keep up the momentum month-after-month. i might have to hang it up for a month or so to recharge the creative juices.

much love!

I started having to put gates on a few things, because of a constant hissing noise on a few instruments I was using it on.

I thought it was the actual synth.. it wasn't. It was BiFilter.

So, yeah.. certainly in terms of quality, "sketchy". Regarding legality?.. also, yeah.
Goodness, I was talking sketchy in terms of the weird place that link ended up...which I downloaded it from and is definitely history now! Maybe I should shut up about Mwamble Mwasher....Hope you found a good filter to fill the gap.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Midterm exams are over... and I got the patience to count very carefully every instance used so I updated the info :
J.Ruegg & Zarf wrote: Instances of JUCE OPL x146

DAW : Ableton Live 10

Live audio FXs:
- Limiter x7
- Saturator x1
- Eq8 x60
- Compressor x24
- Multiband Dynamics x4
- Reverb x30
- Utility x14
- Glue Compressor x1
- Ping pong delay x3

Live Midi FXs:
- pitch x29
- Arpeggiator x3
- scale x10
- velocity x2

VST FXs:
- OTT x13
- TDR NOVA x1
A lot of it was just duplicates and redundancy... so, for example the number of EQs could be reduced to ~30 I would say.
We where too busy making music noise to care I guess :D . It was a really big project

y'all are crazy with the numbers..

OK, whatever.. I'll bite.

Updated my song info.

Here'a a re-cap of the changes:

Plug-ins:

Studio One FX:
  • Limiter x175
    Channel Strip x58
    Multiband Dynamics x2
    Autofilter x17
    Room Reverb x13
    Binaural Pan x1
    Beat Delay x3
    Mixverb x4
    Mixtool x1
    Pro EQ x3
Third Party FX (freebies):

Melda Production:
  • MEqualizer x3
    MSpectralPan x2
    MSaturator x3
    MStereoExpander x1
Voxengo:
  • Stereo Touch x13
    OldSchoolVerb x1
Thomas Mundt:
  • LoudMax x11
Still think the "requirement" of listing how many of each thing you used.. is sorta pointless. :P

LMAO! I agree, but whatever track has OldSchoolVerb on it was my fav.

A rather distinct top 5. The most beautiful piece and best developed composition in my opinion is the Aqua Regia. The most impressive is the grazy, nasty Grim Volt.
A special comment concerning the Output 1-2: this is obviously a work in progress, only one motif but was all the possibilities to develope it to a great, five point song. Pitty, that no enegy/time to continue working with it.

Voted - Sorry less comments this time. I enjoyed my holiday in italy. Pizza and red wine and the sun kept me from typing in too many anyway useless comments into my mobile ;-)

Somebody said - Creativity is based on restriction. Who ever said that can find proof in this competition. I mean listen to this bunch of crazy tracks that came out of a year 2000 2 OP FM Synth Emulation...I cannot believe it.

I echo that Peter! Crazy what folks here can do.

Is it just me or was there a higher percentage of mind blowing tracks this month than usual? I'll be lucky to make the top half, although this was my wife's favorite of mine so far. Progtronic - wow, just wow.
