This show randomly popped up on my YouTube feed today and at first I didn't recognize who the gentleman was but I realized it's Sam Mims of Syntaur who reached synth hero status around here in the 80's. He was one of the people who inspired me to get into patch programming and become a synth geek. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person I did have some dealings with him when I worked in the keyboard department of a music store here in Las Vegas.

Anyway seeing his video episodes has taken me back to wonderful time of my life when it seemed like there were new synths and sounds every week and I thought his show would be of interest to those who are fans of vintage synths. Lots of cool old synths show up in the episodes and there is some synth history thrown in as well (their Juno 107 is especially cool). Very entertaining. :)
