I have a Fujitsu Simens 6120 laptop and a ESI Quata-fire 610. On that I run WinXp(sp2), Cubase SX 2.2 and NI Guitar Rig. I have set the latency to 10ms. Sometimes I just use it for jaming; playing heavy riffs on my Les Paul along with some REX-files. At that time I play with the monitored guitar sound from Guitar Rig. And sometimes I press the rec button to record a new song. This is a fantastic enviroment.. me, the laptop, the guitar and my headphones in middle of the night
But, regardless if just jaming or recording. The input signal from the HI-Z port is changing in level. It's like someone pressing down and up a -10db button.
I've just got a new Quata-fire from the Music store and I've tried with WinXP SP1 and SP2. And a got the same proplem with Nomand Factory (Rock amp).
Anyone have anything to say?
