i have made the switch from logic to cubase on PC.
in Logic when you play a chord on your midi keyboad, the transport bar in logic tells you exactly what chord you are playing.

is this feature in SX ?

If so where is it?

thanks in advance

If you are using SX2 (don't know about SX3), it should be at the top of the piano roll editor. I found it a couple of weeks ago, when I removed some menu items I didn't need. At the screen resolution I was using, it disappeared off the right hand side of the window. But, it is there.. :)

yeah i know what your on about,it just come up with this same sign no matter what i play though.

cant seem to get it to do anything.

i think cubase only monitors what notes are recorded in the piano roll, not live midi input.

In the piano roll there is a chord display but it gives only the chord of the notes which are under the play cursor. So you have to record or draw them first.

yeah iv just found that part

still a bit of a pain in the arse drawing them in first, but its better than nothing.

Think i can live with it

thanks for the feedback people :)
