So you mean that for those of us who have bought W8 ultimate, and paid for an unusable Biotek (I never got it working properly on Linux, it was always missing content, cf the numerous tickets I opened), we get nothing?

You forgot about the hours of fun trying to activate after evry update of software or operating system 
...
But leaving all the fun away it would be really interesting to know if there will be any upgrade path for Biotek 1 owners, no matter how and in which bundle they got Biotek 1. That has been asked before but I still dont have no concrete answer so far (that is to put it simple: how much....).

Just seen in another thread: 99 bucks no matter where you got Biotek 1 from and what you paid for that beta 1......O.k. I am out now, for me the border of pain in case of price policy is definitely exceeded. Maybe if they have 50 % deal on the upgrade someday.....havent looke for some time now but just realized that the ultimate bundle is 259 bucks now, sorry folks, thats ridiculous (and if you bear in mind that not so long ago this was a 30 bucks daw....).
EDIT: what I forgot: you save 574 bucks with that deal, so you want to tell me its worth 833 bucks ? Sorry I love lot of the devellopment you have done since T 2 but seems you must have lost connection to reality somewhere on that way....

you have to pay for a GUI update and granular synthesis... Avenger updates are free and only $20 more to buy it.
Edit: Thought i'd take a look at the demo and it hard crashes Ableton 10.1 as soon as you try and use it...

I'm also through with this type of pricing. Really doesn't pay with Tracktion to be a loyal, early adopter. Better off waiting the the fire sale, when late adopters get rewarded.

I'm not sure which of these things fixed the hard crash on the demo for me but loading up Biotek 1 to compare gave me the option to download a new content library. I also rebooted. It now fires up under Live 10.1. Biotek 2 never got that far and I can't remember seeing the content as a download option in the account.
But...the demo only shows one available preset, which is a fairly ordinary bass meant to show off the Spinal Saw oscillator.
And the demo noise and nag screen popup is annoying. White noise doesn't need to be that loud to let you know it's a demo, particularly on a synth that's promoted largely as a soundscape generator.
Requesting the demo also seems to have messed up my Tracktion account such that Waverazor no longer has a licence - it's just offering me a demo download.
EDIT: Well, at least I now have the time-limited demo unlocked, which unlocks the browser and kills the noise for a while. But after a while the sound just cuts out after loading presets instead, so you have to reload the plugin.

I have W9 Ultimate. The only download in my account is for the Biotek 1 demo.

Speaking of accounts, here's what mine looks like after paying for Biotek2 that did not work (Linux) and trying out the demo version subsequently. No need to mention that I not only paid for Waverzor but also beta-tested the editor. I guess thisbrings a new meaning to 'Recommended'

Yep, me too actually it's been showing like that for awhile ....
