Obviously it won't stop the outright illegal stuff like the gazillion stupid 'you have 10 unread messages' that have exactly the same format so god knows why anyone would be fooled by them. Or the Russian brides.
But I'm hoping it will stop things like the betting company stuff as I know where they are.
