Right...
I am using Kontakt sampler but i dont really like the filters it has as they aint givin the sound i want... So i am using the kontakt sampler for the compression and smpling etc but using a seperate Filter Plug-In for my filter. In kontakt u can easily assign the cut-off filter to your MIDI controllers pitch control... BUT what i cant seem to do is assign the cut-off from my seperate filter plug-in to my MIDI controllers pitch control... I am using an EDIROL PCR-30 controller if that helps... I get good help everytime i post on here... so dont let me down people !!! Thanx again for your time...

This depends on what filter plugin you are using, most plugins these days support CC automation of most of their controls. Not all do though.
It also depends of course on the host, although it would very probably be the same procedure as with Kontakt.
What filter plugin are you using?

most of my plugins will show what cc's are mapped
hold your mouse over the dials and a flag pops up
make a new midi track and point it too, in this case
LFO FIlter.
by the way, kvr is a much cooler place when you dont upset the regulars and/or type in mobile text speak.

If the filter plugin you're using responds to MIDI CCs but not pitchbend, you can use the Cubase SX transformer to convert pitchbend data into CCs:
Action: Transform
Filter: Type Is Equal (to) Pitchbend
Action: Type Set to fixed value (of) Controller
Action: Value 1 Set to fixed value (of) <CC#>.
Easy. Took me a whole three minutes. You can use the other two minutes to figure out how to map a MIDI CC to the correct parameter on whatever filter plugin you're using, and how to route a MIDI track to the plugin.
Forever,
Kim.
