I finally ordered the Malmsjö piano and hopefully it will be here soon. I just fell in love with it after hearing it in a couple of Putte's tunes. The tunes were amazing as well.....so hopefully the paino will still stand strong outside the tunes...

bluedad mentioned that he saw it on sale for $50, so i waited... and waited....and then bit the bullet and bought it for $100. I am sure it's worth that price anway. thanks bluedad.....but i was too impatient..hehe

anyway, I was curious if anybody was using this piano in kontakt? I don't use giga studio so I am hoping that kontakt can stream it efficiently.

Works fine for me in Kontakt.

It comes with several kontakt files (more than mentioned at the website I believe) and there mapped great, etc, etc, etc. I still very much like this sample set and the company is helpful. It's "cool vibes" from the same company thats in gig format with no kontakt (but I emailed them and they sent me a nice one that another customer sent in), however with the kontakt update, I found the gig translation more impresive and I have no complaints running the gig files with the new update.

In other words, you'll be fine. There was a promotional point when everything was 50$, whose to say that will happen again. Around the time of Komplete2. I loved watching the market during that escapaed by NI.

The vibes I'm still having some problems with, mainly the release being to short and not sounding a natural decay, but that more software issues and my inexperience...the samples are great and well recorded.

Back to grands, I have heard the Bos290, and was most impressed (very different) but I am again very pleased with this one especially for the price.

I need to thank putte as well for I went on his recomendation on this one. I'm now looking for some female vocals for cheap and noticed precision sound has a bundle, but putte, if you know of other please inform...but not spectraldesign's new one ($$$

I was really interested in this piano because it has that certain dark, haunting sound that I just can't get from my other pianos (BOS290, The Grand, Old Lady) and for $100...I really couldn't pass it up.

It's great to hear that the vibes are nice as well.
