I just purchased the FL Studio Producer Edition and on the box it doesn't show if it is the 12th edition whatsoever. However it mentions that I will get Lifetime Free Updates: "get FL Studio 21, 22, ... free!"
I was wondering if the FL Studio 20 will have the same box or that it will have more/newer content?

The website I purchased it from: https://www.bax-shop.nl/daw-software/im ... w-software (https://www.bax-shop.nl/daw-software/image-line-fl-studio-12-producer-edition-daw-software)

Isn't FL Studio 20 rather version 13? They just named it 20, because of their 20th birthday, i believe.

It doesn't matter what version is in the box, you can always download the latest from Image-Line's website. There's a good chance that the box only contains a serial to register the software and you will need to download the latest version from their site.

You are right! I discovered a live chat in the Image Line shop page. Someone from the Sales team replied as follows:

You get free access to FL Studio 20 after activating your box serial number on our web site.
The box version for FL Studio 20 is the same for box and manual.
The USB stick in the version 20 box will be empty (no installer), you need to download the version 20 installer online at all times.

So for box content there is no difference.

I can open the box in peace now :D
