Is there a Limit/System/Suggestion(s) to the app's auto backup method?

I'm struggling w/this concept.
For instance, I have been using a project for learning the app. It now has ~500MB of history in >700 files for two days. Didn't check them all, but i.e., as many as 14 have the same timestamp!
I see no way I can comprehend/use other than a very small portion of this...

Seeking replies as per the title of this.

EDIT: I do see the tab for 'general' history. Guess I can mange the quantity from there...

Right, the history does not have a limitation or auto-deleting based on size. It can get big, especially if you use VST plug-ins.
This problem will be solved shortly.
