Will the Uno provide midi clock on its out? Would be sweet so you can sync a volca with it.

Using the SYNC control on UNO Synth you can set the MIDI CLOCK settings. The DATA button will let you toggle between external MIDI and external USB.

You are wanting to know if the UNO can send midi clock on the midi out correct?

Using the SYNC control with the External MIDI setting should allow the MIDI Clock to sync to your External MIDI device (In this case, your Volca). This means this should be possible.fabi wrote:which actually sounds like it doesn't do what i was asking...Ryan_IK wrote:Using the SYNC control on UNO Synth you can set the MIDI CLOCK settings. No - he wanted to know if the UNO can SEND MIDI out so that the Volca can sync to the UNO.Ryan_IK wrote:Using the SYNC control with the External MIDI setting should allow the MIDI Clock to sync to your External MIDI device (In this case, your Volca). UNO will automatically transmit MIDI Beat Clock and sequence start / stop messages from its MIDI Out to allow the syncing of two or more UNO units simply by patching the MIDI Out from the master unit to the MIDI In of the slave unit. This should also apply to third party devices which work similarly.perpetual3 wrote:No - he wanted to know if the UNO can SEND MIDI out so that the Volca can sync to the UNO.Ryan_IK wrote:Using the SYNC control with the External MIDI setting should allow the MIDI Clock to sync to your External MIDI device (In this case, your Volca). Surey you don’t have to plug a keyboard in and assign midi cc just to put an lfo or adsr on the oscillator?
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I think I'm starting to understand why there's negativity towards IKM.SLiC wrote:Surey you don’t have to plug a keyboard in and assign midi cc just to put an lfo or adsr on the oscillator?
I was irked by the lack of transparency about the delay being digital.
Now it seems that Erik wasn't being entirely up-front about waveform modulation when he was repeating the cookie-cutter presentations mentioning it at superbooth.
I remember when he was talking about PWM in the various vids - no mention of having to use an external device to set the level:
eg sonicstate:
and synthopia:
and sound on sound:
now I'm wondering what else in that presentation wasn't as portrayed.
