You can set a 'random' parameter (in ticks) in the quantize panel. That's what I use as a humanize function, but maybe there are other ways as a lot of things can often be achieved in more than one way in Cubase.

The ONE thing that annoys me about Cubase is the lack of a proper humanize feature. You are left to doing other things manually to approximate a humanize feature. I left Studio One for Cubase and don't regret it, except for one or two things, and this is one of those things. It makes no sense that Cubase wouldn't have this, as it far exceeds Studio One in midi editing overall. Please Cubase, add a humanize button, and make it adjustable, like in Studio One.

I guess you mean the ease of having a button that does both velocity and note position randomization at one go?
Why not make feature requests wherever that's done, then.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Plus, when you save this it will automatically appear on the Midi menu. And you can vary the parameters slightly to more or less "humanise".jancivil wrote:also:

..and you can assign a key command to it as well. So if you act on selected midi notes - it's a keyboard command away to execute. And even repeat in a flash.Googly Smythe wrote:Plus, when you save this it will automatically appear on the Midi menu. And even have it be part of macro, with many other operations you often do in sequence. And macro can have their own key commands as well.
And the Transformer plugin is Midi Logical Editor in realtime for midi event stream.
So plenty flexibility in Cubase for many things.
