Assuming you've just gotten CM76 it is in the following location :-

D:\Software\PC Software\Library PC\CMStudio\CM Studio Plugins\05 OHMYGOD! 1.01

This is the same for CM77 too :) I'm only using Ohmygod! as it allows abrupt changes in volume with it's master fader without any glitching - together with an arp comp you can make a custom, synchronized gating effect :) I've since written a little plugin of my own to do the same...

Let me know if they work :D

OK - here's a simple project I use within Cubase to chop up loops and create variations:

Image

Download it here. I've included a loop, and some variations, so that you can try it out straight away.

Its quite simple:

- incoming notes C1 - B2 trigger variations of a chopped up loop, as mapped out in the midi part.

- incoming notes C3 - xxx trigger the individual chopped slices. You can see them in the audio part.

This project doesn't sync to host tempo, so you have to match the eXT tempo to the hosts manually.

You could always replace the Audio part with your favourite loop slicing vsti, such as Phatmatik Pro.

Very cool patch Rozzer!

However, for some reason I am not able to open up the midi patcher for viewing or editing :? (Either by double-clicking or right-click>Edit). I can add another midi patcher and open it without any problem, but not the one you've set up. Any idea why this is so? I'm using the Aug 23 beta.

Thanks S. I can't imagine why this would be. I'm using Aug 23 beta too, although its possible I saved that project using an earlier beta. Still, that shouldn't be a problem.

The only thing I can think of is that the part is opening, but is appearing off screen somewhere. I was careful not to save the project with different windows open on my two monitors, incase that caused a problem on single monitor systems.

Problem solved - the midi patcher was indeed way off screen. I changed my monitor resolution way up, and the midi patcher appeared way off to the right. I brought it back home and resaved. Good call! :)

Yeah I just downloaded that FruityLoops skin myself. I was stoked.

I always really liked the look of FruityLoops if nothing else. Great to have the same look in eXT. Thanks NicFit.
