SampleTank L vs XL

Hi all,
I was a participant in the group buy. I am looking at my options for upgrading my Sampletank LE to the full Sampletank engine.
So I was wondering, is the engine included in Sampletank 2L is the same one offered in Sampletank 2 XL? Is the only difference in these two packages the number of bundled sounds?
Thanks!
Mojo Chopper.

THanks for replying.
I just wanted to make sure just in case I missed something in my reading
.
As far as the upgrade options go, according to the soundz site, the update to L would cost about $230 and the update to XL about $270.

I'd say the XL is worth the additional cost over L, but then I was weak on "bread-and-potatoes" (or was that "meat-and-butter") samples before. Not any longer! :-)
If you'd like to build a good solid library with a decent usability ratio, and you're going with L or XL, I'd recommend XL. If you've already got plenty of other basic sound samples, the additional material might be redundant or unnecessary for you.

True....but if the above upgrade prices are correct, another 4 CDs/2+ gigs of sound for $40.00 seems like, at least on face value, a good deal.Meffy wrote: If you've already got plenty of other basic sound samples, the additional material might be redundant or unnecessary for you.

I'm a happy 2XL owner and never figured out what would be missing with "L" but I like the full library. You just never know. Still personal economics must prevail in the end.

You have a point there. I can think of times when "too much" turned out to be "a darned good thing." :-) And the low incremental cost makes it a bargain, long as it doesn't put it over a spending limit.
