Music Production / Songwriting Study / Focus Group

Does anyone know of an online study group related to pro* music production or songwriting?
Or interested in forming one?

*pro as in your end goal is to commercially produce, compose, write, release, publish etc - you may not already have done so, or even have a portfolio yet, but that's why you're studying.

Background:
I've spent the past year filling in the gaps of my knowledge of music production by taking self-study courses (AskVideo etc), reading books, and lots of research.
I'm majoring in modern Pop music, the marketplace and Pop culture.
At the same time going deeper into music theory and modern production techniques.

The problem with this approach to learning is isolation, I don't have a mentor or fellow college students to bounce ideas around with. I mean in a more focused way than posing random open discussions on KVR (which are ok in their own right btw).
