I gave Tracktion Delay Studio plugin a try:

It has clean UI, and I liked several features there:

Pitch shifter per tap
Visual representation of taps
Snapping to grid when taps are dragged

It's too heavy on CPU considering it's just a delay and it had some bugs.

I'm looking at Quadravox/Octavox and it looks fairly similar. I'm sure it will sound good but but its notation grid is terrible.

Are there good alternatives?

Unless I missed something then the pitchshifter is only on the input and in the feedback path. If there is a multi tap version of fault I'd be very excited and very much feeling like an idiot for not knowing.

Thank you for your suggestions, I'll check them.
Seems like I've tried lkjb PitchedDelay before but forgot about it. It's unappealing but it really does the job.

Yes, all the free plugins are awesome bit this isnt a multitap delay.

(If anyone needs a realtime timestretch head to their site, I can highly recommend Spiralstretch.

You may not be aware but the commercial plugins are now available individually and really affordable.

Spiralstrecths is just $25 !!!)

Nope, you're right. Fault is single-tap, and the pitch shifter is FFT based.

Sandman Pro has Multitap and Pitch Shifting delay modes, but not both at the same time.

OhmBoyz Infinity is what you want for per-tap pitch shifting in software. In hardware, Intellijel Rainmaker is awesome. If you use VCV Rack, Frozen Wasteland's Portland Weather has 16 delay taps with per-tap shifting. It's also free and open-source!

Sinevibes Multitude has this, it's the single most under-rated delay around. Seriously powerful.

maybe it's not exactly the same, but eventide octavox/quadravox has a delay with feedback for each pitch-shifted voice
