@jasco - sorry to hear about your issue. We can't repro it here yet, but we're looking at it.
Hi Julian!

Great job on the crush pack, so far i love it, Dirt is a distortion unit i wanted for a long time, great flexible distortion units for distorted kicks. But i must mention, does it suppose to eat alot of CPU?

also a bit off topic but...will Komplete 12 Ultimate gonna come out this summer ? :D

Also it seems that all the new plugins that were in Native Access XML file are coming out, this means new Massive comes out?

Thanks, I've put a ticket in, happy to provide more details if needed.

As owner of the free Phasis i could now upgrade to the modpack for just €24.50 and then i could crossgrade to the crushpack for €49.
So for €73.50 i could get both packs. Nice deal.
But not sure if i really need it or if it anyway will be included all in Komplete 12 (but maybe just in Ultimate).
I'm seriously tempted to do this myself, but as an owner of Guitar Rig 5, would these effects add much to my collection?

Glad you like it! The CPU for Dirt can get a little bit heavy, true - especially if you're really pushing the gain hard and using a lot of bias. We made a choice to go for sound-quality over the lowest CPU for this one. Dirt has super-low aliasing for a circuit-modelled distortion plugin, which costs. IIRC, we're in the same ballpark CPU-wise as Decapitator, so hopefully that's acceptable for most people.

About the other stuff. Can't really comment, sorry! :ud:

They look superb IMO.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

ah figures :)

Also i did notice one thing with Freak mix knob, if i set it around the middle i notice there is phasing, is this something that suppose to happen?

I am hoping what we are eventually moving towards with Komplete Kontrol will be a flexible modular instrument and fx host that can chain these fx as well as use modules from Reaktor (and GR) all within the one plugin. Maybe GR will stay but with a narrower focus on Amps rather than multi fx, although to do that it needs serious attention, maybe also it will be replaced by something else? KK is not there yet, it now supports FX but doesn't actually come in an FX version yet but I think that is the direction things are heading in given the release of these new FX packs and their seamless integration into Komplete.

In oscillator mode? Yep, that's intentional. It's lets you do endless Sheppard-tone style phasing.

Just bought the crossgrade version for £22 :tu:

Tried an e-voucher just in case (as they don't normally work on upgrades) and it worked!

I will download all demos today and see if the fans still kick in like hell due to the GUI...which looks great but Phasis really let my fans circle like a jet.

SLiC wrote:There were so many really good effects in Guitar Rig, why didn't they just update that (and call it FX Rack!!)
Because the developers of GR left NI many moons ago and paying for somebody else to get up to speed with the development is probably not commercially viable, they are in the business of making money, not friends.

Thanks a lot for the info. I was finally able to use my voucher. :tu:

Demo'd Dirt before buying. The sound is lovely, although it takes quite a lot of CPU.
