So I've been listening to a lot of electronic and Hip-Hop songs that use a lot of Gospel/ Neo Should & R&B inspired chord progressions and I was just wondering how the format and theory behind it. I am not the best when it comes to the piano but I am always keen to learn or add new elements to my writing. Underneath are some examples of songs I've been listening to. I can tell there are some passing chords, borrowed and secondary dominants used? Correct me if I'm wrong and any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
