On Soundcloud is there a way to be alerted when someone you follow creates a new track ?

When someone I am following creates a new track there seems to be no notification , or nothing in any kind of feed that tells me.
Is there a way of switching this on ?

(I actually do have checked on "[/] new post by followed user" in my settings. If I manually click on my "HOME" at the top left there is a feed actually... but it still doesn't alert me as I think it should be doing. )
