I did some PlugIn-Doctor tests to see what smartEQ+ is doing. As some may remember I reported some audible change to sound quality, some where denying or not hearing it.
Where other EQs are showing nothing or barely visible THD, smartEQ+ goes very high, especially when processing is done. The flat result (lower pic) is also there when the plug in is in Bypass (!).

I concur. Just checked with Plugin Doctor 1.05 and get the same results. I also tried a plugin that should be pass-through, Nugen MasterCheck which is a meter. It shows a noise floor below -175dB. Frei:raum does appear to have a harmonic signature. Is that a problem? It sounds good to me...
