provoc, Yes, I need to build 2.12 tomorrow so I will put the envelope switches into 2.13.
jmg8, good find, it's caused by feeding a reverb which is a master stereo processor into a filter which is a per voice processor. You lose the voice channels through the reverb and the filter can no longer modulate per note voice.
But I fixed the processor so it can handle that and the fix will be in 2.12.

i am really liking Fathom now that it is finally working on my system, but i am unclear about my ownership status. i paid for it & was not given a serial #. so what is the deal when it comes time for .01/.1 updates?

KVR allows many, many things.FathomSynth wrote:BW, That's a great idea, I did not realize KVR had that automated, it's awesome.
We can even make our own database. Example : my page for Fathom (click the image to have it full size in another tab of your browser where you can zoom it) :

At the rightmost column you have all my "table columns" (database speaking). And it is very easy to do. No need to be an IT geek. We do it by this page My KVR which is accessible at the top of any KVR page. At the leftmost column of this My KVR page there is the same column... and at the bottom of it, you can add a new category by the button Create Group (no need to change its attributes, those by default are fine). You can even document your categories (your groups) if you want because the button "Edit group" (once the group created, of course) provides a true Wysiwyg editor.
Innumerable things are possible in this My KVR page. And also many other things (to add other tools and other alerts in addition to those which are given by default) are possible yet by the page available by the top left menu My KVR Global Options accessible by the menu which is your nickname at the top left of any KVR page.
Oh... About my screenshot above : the categories which begin by F (it is me who manage the prefixes, don't worry), you can see that they are not used for Fathom. It is normal, because I use these categories only for FX plugins. And Fathom is not a FX plugin but an Instrument plugin.
All that, it is just a very small example of all the things which are possible to do with KVR.
KVR is not just a forum... it is a total environment to manage one's own stuff.
You manage your own database of all the products that you have (and those that you want to survey, those that you wish to get in a future, etc.) and you are systematically informed by email of any change made on any of these products that you have included in your database (and if there are some products for which you don't want to receive any alert... it is possible too !).
And all that very easily, without any knowledge in IT.
Build your life everyday as if you would live for a thousand years. Marvel at the Life everyday as if you would die tomorrow.

BW, Wow you are the KVR Guru! That's cool.
WD, You did the right thing by asking. Normally the password is included in the confirmation email, but when it changes the correct procedure is for the user to email support to get the new password, and as long as their email matches a purchase email then they get it right away.
I also sent you a PM.
Fathom Friday is now on $11.00.

In addition to the massive changes in the GUI and new Settings page, much of the audio processor was completely rewritten for efficiency.
This together with new abilities to disable various high quality settings, have produced some rather surprising test results.
Attached here are the Fathom's CPU Benchmark Performance Tests comparing 2.12 to 2.11.
I'm seeing on average a 15% increase in CPU on max quality settings, and with minimal settings invoked there is approximately a 40% CPU increase.
This means with presets that previously maxed out at around 10 notes will now max out at 14 notes. Keep in mind that by 2.11 there were already some CPU improvements so comparing 2.12 to earlier releases will have even more dramatic effects.

Hi,
Great to have this update, but I'm a little confused about what to transfer from the unzipped folder to the existing installation. A screenshot of the current VSTplugins/Fathom folder is attached.
Regards,
David

You can always get updates here:
https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates
The current stable release is 2.11 (free).
To help support the project you can buy the 2.12 upgrade advance release which I'm still testing.
https://www.fathomsynth.com/products
Paying for the upgrade is voluntary, not mandatory, and the free version of 2.12 will go up very soon in a few days. The 2.12 advance copy has the new GUI, new panel backgrounds which can be assigned to any panel on the GUI, new Settings page, new Reverb Pro page, +60 presets by Scrubbing Monkeys, new SQ80 Wave Tables, and the processor settings for 40% CPU bump.
If you prefer to try it first you can email me and request the direct link:
support@fathomsynth.com
You will need to email me anyway to get the new password which has changed for 2.12,
just make sure your email matches your purchase email.
There is no installation required for Fathom, just drop the DLL where ever you want it or where ever you put all your plugins for your host to find. You only need the preset and waveform folders if you want the latest presets and waveforms, if you don't want the latest presets then ignore them. The user's guide explains how to install everything on both Windows and Mac.
I just spoke to KVR and we are extending the sale through Saturday to give people more time, please spread the word on other forums.

I'm trying to decide how to approach making a NKS version of this, problem is there are so many potential parameters so I need to narrow it down somehow
