!?This guide will teach you everything you need to know about Ableton vs FL Studio
i would say that guide is anything but definitive. i am pretty well versed on both and there is a lot more depth than is shown here... You're barely skimming the surface.
You don't even mention automation clips in FL which is one of it's main features. Hardly any features are mentioned.
i also don't understand why you have Avicii in the user list. that could be omitted i am sure. i mean, the guy is dead right?

We mentioned the main differences. Does Ableton miss the automation clips?? Seems they are included.
Avicii is dead but the fact he used FL Studio in all his production I couldn`t not to mention.

i mentioned it because i takew issue with your claim: "This guide will teach you everything you need to know about Ableton vs FL Studio"
it teaches you nothing about neither program. there is no detail and no evidence that there was any effort to get any.
i've see your posts on other forums. seems like your trying to get people to buy your sample packs. nothing wrong with thT, but don't claim things that are not true.

Totally inappropriate use of the word "definitive".
Was this researched and written within a day? Was the only research performed on who uses what? It looks like research starts at the end of the article when users are asked "Which sequencer prefer you and why?".
Your website has an opening for a copywriter? I would hold out publishing anything until you get one. If you have one, fire him and get someone who can write.
Anyway. I guess you can't blame the guy for trying. Very 'clickbaity' way of promoting yourself but if that's how you want to do it... I get the feeling that you should have hired Inkwarp as a consultant or anyone who uses either DAW in their productions - or someone who works in the industry who could have informed you better on why FL Studio could never have been chosen over Live for stage performances. I'm surprised that Paul Kalbrenner didn't explain to you when you interviewed him.
Ableton is the company, by the way, if you want to call Live "Ableton" then you should call FL Studio "Image-Line".

Whether dead or alive, I don't see how this is a plus or a negative. If I don't like Avicii's music, I should avoid FL Studio? I like Venetian Snares but I'm not about to switch to the tracker paradigm. Though I dare say a well researched and written sequencer vs tracker article might have made for more interesting reading.topmusicarts wrote: Avicii is dead but the fact he used FL Studio in all his production I couldn`t not to mention.

What a stupid comparison. And it even barely scratches the surface of both Ableton and FL Studio. And that word "definitive" is an insult to informative journalism.
Here's how data in the article was aquired (probably):
"Hey i need to write interesting article. Lets do comparison article. I dont use any of the daws ill just ask my friend who just recently started to produce and now selecting a DAW, maybe he will give me some information".
This article deserves to be deleted.

Often articles on the internet are not written for the person who reads but for the browser who will search key words so the webpage will pop more often in search results to get more traffic on the page. And sometime the person that write the article doesn't even know the subject he's talking about. That's sad !Vortifex wrote:I don't mean to be insulting but the standard of writing in that article was very poor. Perhaps English isn't your first language? Get someone to check it for errors. Also you published an article on the 28th that says FL Studio is only available for Windows, which is incorrect.
Posting a "guide" on FL Studio and not knowing it's available on MacOS is a bit doubtful
Anyway, the user only have 7 post on kvr and it's only to promote his stuff...
BTW : English is not my language

I've used both, and honestly, there's very little depth here. I like the points that you hit, but overall it's an extremely surface-y article.

I read the comments here, I've read the article. I wasn't disappointed. They were accurate

Why you guys beating him up over this for Christ sakes?
All he's doin' is sharing a link on an ableton vs fl comparison.
Personally I think it's interesting comparing 2 daws that are very different instead of 2 daws that are similar. I'm sic-ta-def of bitwig/ableton comparisons. Pweeple startin' out need to know dis shit. I weemember when I started out and it was a case of spin the wheel with a blindfold and see what happens. If I spent more time comparing daws that were vastly different I wouldn't have wasted my life wandering the desert sands of Protools for so many f#cking years.
