Indeed. He is certainly not a Tone2 developer:

He just wanted to include Gladiator in a "recommended wavetable editors" list. If the wavetables created with Gladiator couldn't really be used, it would be pretty silly to do so.

Okay, so Flakes2 is an idiot and an asshole. What else is new.

Dude, what Urs was basically asking was if Tone 2 synths have the same functionality and rights as Serum.

With Serum, you can use the internal wavetable editor to create your own wavetables and use them any way you like, even in your own products. I created over 350 wavetables for my sound library that I sell. Serum allows this.

Urs simply wanted to know if Tone 2 allows the same kind of functionality and rights, that's all.

If you'd stop and think long enough to stop being an idiot and an asshole, you might have been able to figure this out on your own. But apparently your pea brain doesn't allow for such comprehensive thought.

Moron.

I've read the whole Wag's post with the voice of Statler from the Muppets. :D

I sometime pretty much appreciate your subtlety.
Especially when used wisely.
Like this.

flakes2 wrote:If you do not plan to include Gladiator's content why do you ask about copyright?
Because d'oh.

Let me paraphrase for you, here's my question in words hopefully less ambiguous for you:

If I manage to load my own content into Gladiator, using the tools available, and I mangle it with the methods present and I "export it to Icarus" as a wav file (if that's possible), did Tone2 somehow put a paragraph (legal or not) in their EULA which prevents me from distributing this .wav file with soundbanks which are not for Tone2 products?

Furthermore, if I create or manipulate waveforms of my own doing in Icarus and export those as a wav file (if that's possible), did Tone2 somehow put a paragraph (legal or not) in their EULA which prevents me from distributing this .wav file with soundbanks which are not for Tone2 products?

Is that more clear now?

If it is not clear for you, could contact the copyright holder. You can simply ask him for a permission. You could also legally license the content.

No, because

Haven't been to KVR in about year...I see things haven't changed much

After reading all this it seems like Flake2 just picking Urs for no apearent reason. Maybe holding a grudge? Met in the past? Jealousy? Wrong doings?

Let there be PEACE and Love guys

I wouldn't use tone2 products for creating something for other products. The sound quality is under question (I proved that in the past. Clicks, glitches, crappy envelopes). Also, they said that the sound that is coming from their synths is watermarked.

Seems quite logical. Just ask them as you did with Steve Duda.
