I'm having a frustrating issue with Logic Pro X Track automation where the Bypass of internal Step FX should not be turned off until bar 16 beat 1, but it is happening just before Measure 15, beat 3. Other automated parameters in this song play back as expected, in time.

Also, automation plays back differently depending on where the playhead is in the project when I press Play...while unexpected, annoying, and unforgivable...this seems to be a commonly noted bug.

I am on the largest sample buffer size, not in Low Latency mode, I have Sample Accurate Automation turned on, and have checked that there are no conflicting automation lanes between Region and Track on this channel. I've checked every other automated parameter on this channel, and have done quite a bit of research on related threads at Logic Pro Help.

Logic Pros - please help!

Thanks for the link, good to know I'm not bonkers. A further dimension I'm noticing in this is that such issues tend to occur in Track automation around Region borders regardless of whether a) any automation takes place at these borders and b) there is any Region automation on the channel at all.

There's a time in every project I start in Logic, where I need to export and finish mixing in another DAW to get around weird things like this. Guess it's about that time o'clock.
