Nothing there. Just my Cubase 7 and Absolute 3 licenses.
Wow you are right...

Check your spam folder I guess. My recent demo emails came in about 3-5 minutes (Iconica).

And I answered your other post.

Yes. Nothing there. I just tried again. It's not going to come. I already know. I get every other email from every other place. And, get this, I got the email FROM Steinberg letting me know that Cubase 9.5 is on sale.

FML.

Guess I'm just meant to stay on Cubase 7.
Maybe you web-browser theme isn't compatible with Steinberg's inbox :D

I wouldn't upgrade if I were you because you are still with Windows 7. It is better IMO to either stay with your current setup or update Windows to 10 and then Cubase to the latest version.

In my case, I didn't bother downloading the demo (of v9.5). I just upgraded using the coupon but I have already v9, so it is an easy decision (I also have Windows 10 with latest update).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Why wouldn't you upgrade if on Windows 7 ? I used the demo of 9 and im on Windows 7 and it worked fine.

What benefit is there on Windows 10 ?

As for the Aero thing, i'm not 100% sure but arent there skins for Cubase ? I remember posting something about it ages ago, I didn't like the dark theme to it, was hard to see, and someone put up a bunch of skins or themes that made it look wayyy better. THey had loads on a website if I recall right.

Steinberg will NOT make it possible to use a high contrast theme. Only aero themes. So I'll have to stay with version 7.5 .
The state of accessibility in DAWs is quite deplorable. I too am visually impaired and love Cubase. However, I find myself wanting to stick with Logic because it has native voice over upposrt should I ever need it. I do hope that Steinberg add in this feature eventually.

I've been using since 1993 o r1994. So I'm so used to it. Never really seriously tried another DAW. However it's not unlikely I'll migrate to Logic when I buy my next computer that'll almost certainly be a OS X.

Although I own Cubase 8.5 I still stick with version 7.5 since it works with high contrast theme in Windows.

Anyway, what I'd like to know is how Cubase works wiht high contrast themes in OS X ?
