You'll need to use the code before July 16 - that's when it expires.

So....if you get the udpate now and don't use it, when you update to 10 (or later), do you have to do it at a certain time?

If so, how do you know when. Like when it's announced, when it's available, before it's available, or when?

It starts a few weeks before cubase 10 is released. But if you want to be 100% sure, just do it after cubase 10 is out.

I wasn't clear on if you could wait a while after a new version was released.
I normally like to wait a bit in case there's a lot of bugs that need taking care of.
I'm going to update to 9.5 now and wait to activate it until after I see how 10 is working for people.

OK - ordered, downloaded, and installed. But not activated yet.
I'm not sure if I'll activate it right away. I'm going to sleep on it.

Edit: OK - slept on it. Made a list of pros and cons and it's activated.
No going back now.
