Red_Force:
Is there a set time frame when the intro/crossgrade price of 59€ for Ohmboyz owners will end?
You said something it will go up on the next update, but you meant go up like 5€ or will be at the final price of 79€/99€?

Thanks!

ok, I was one of those who basically said: "I have tons of delays some of which are very capable, that thing is going to be too expensive for me"... you listened, and that alone wins me over :phones:

At 59€ crossgrade, very happy to fund the resurrection of Ohmforce. Cheers!

If you own Ohmboyz (aka the old delay), login in and look at your purchases. It’s an option for Ohmboyz.

Like €5 or 10 I guess, depending on what's in. But you'll be warned, we'll announce in advance.

I remember the original Ohm Boyz having cross feedback. How do you do this in Infinite?

Most of the other Ohm Force are also useless in Reason with crashes and pops every time you touch a parameter.
That's not what our support volume nor our test says (oc we test on Reason). You may have a local problem. Please email support@ohmforce.com and we'll see what we can do.
This occurs both on my 2011 iMac and brand new Macbook Pro. On Macbook Pro High Sierra it's even worse as the UI takes a minute to load, starts on a horribly annoying preset where every tap is on max and the preset browser is blank.

The parameter exists but is currently hidden from the UI because we're aiming at expanding it into a 2 parameter control scheme (D1 to D2 & D2 to D1) to allow for serial delays and other treats.

About your issue, can you try the latest patch ? The preset thing should at least be fixed. I must say you wrote Reason but somehow my brain read Reaper. So apologies, we don't test yet on Reason (we'll do later in the beta, but for now we have to keep it tight). The thing is that their relatively recent plugin supports is known to have issues while our plugs run fine in other DAWs, so it's likely it's rather in their hands than ours - and that they are already busy on fixing this anyway.

Everybody having fun? Is this the worthy successor to OhmBoyz we have been led to believe?

Thinking about jumping in, soon. Hoping the current price will hold till next week.

Post

I think I'm going to be jumping in too...

Hows the ducking work? Does it "duck" the effected mix, or does it "duck" the feedback? I'm hoping its just the mix.

How's the saturation on this one?

I bought it, only messed around for half hour or so, bearing that in mind, initial impressions are sound is good. It's up there. A clean, smooth quality. I own other good delays plugins, too many. I bought MFM2 last week for example and own many of the other usual suspects. Cpu hit is reasonable, daw says b/t 5-7% but good chance it's less than that in reality.

Not too thorough of a review by any means, but impressed me enough to post about it for whatever that's worth. Used it as send on piano vst and clap sample.

Thanks!

Are you able to tell anything about the filter? I love the craziness of the original OhmBoyz filters (Hopefully the craziness hasn't changed). However, what I'd really want improved over the older plug is the ability to have more than one filter for each of the delays, to be able to lo/hi cut on the same signal :tu:

I'm not sure whether this is something that you are allowed to speak about.
