With Apple's planned obsolescence, I'm not subjecting my Air 2 to either 11 or 12, unless it becomes absolute necessary. And developers will miss out.

But yes, in general i agree.
I just bought a new iPad Pro and i´m not too impressed how much it can handle compared to my older iPhone 6S plus.

Apparently iOS 12 will be an optimization release which should improve performance even as far back as the iPhone 5S. Maybe that'll help appease users who feel like they're being left behind in the annual tech race.
