Generally when mixing my own songs together I will shift the pitch a couple of semitones either way to get tracks to fit. It appears in Traktor there's no way of saving the pitch shift with the track, instead it is bound to the deck. Is there any(?!) software that can do this?
I'm holding off on paying for any software until I'm confident it has this feature (I have a Serato license but to modify pitch it's an extra £30! And it still might not do what I'm asking)
Looking for a specific feature amongst DJ Tools (Traktor, Virtual DJ, Serato etc) - retaining pitch?

If I understand you right, you'd like to be able to lock in a pitch but have the ability to change tempo?
If yes, then i believe all major DJ software has this. It's a feature called Key Lock. I know 100% that Virtual DJ does at least.
On second reading, you want to permanently lock in that pitch...I don't think there is any feature for that.
